It was Melbourne’s turn to host a StanceWorks meet. It just so happen to fall on a cold and windy day. De Croft was out braving the un-Melbourne like cold conditions to bring you all the pictures from the meet up.
Mark’s tough s15 s14 featured in Wheels & Heels: plan B
For those not in the know, StanceWorks is all about the ride height and wheel fit & finish on your car. The movement became popular after a thread on a cross country journey in an old beat up BMW e28, that scraped the ground on a set of phat BBS. Gone is the original car that started the movement. It was lost in a fire unfortunately, but its legacy continues on and the StanceWorks movement continues to grow. It almost makes us want to grab that old e12 we have rotting in the back paddock and drop some BBS on it.
Just like the original StanceWorks BMW, the emphasis is not on the car’s looks, but on it’s ride height.
The massive turn out meant, there was a wide variety of rides on show. From those who try to copy the American’s style to those who add an Aussie twist. From a dumped VW Passat wagon to a Toyota Camry and all the normal cult cars. There was something on offer for everyone’s tastes.
A big thanks to the organizers to the StanceWorks meet. We had a lot of fun checking out all the low rides, on phat wheels. We can’t wait until the next meet.
Don’t forget to check out our Mens and Womens clothing range.
