It’s been while a since we have been to one of these events. Eight Jap cars in a car park was nothing to write about. Besides not driving a Jap rig meant an uncomfortable evening spent in the corner by yourself. How times have changed.

Melbourne once again held the 2012 Formula One season opening race. This season is expected to be wide open as some teams are already working on developing their cars for the 2013 rule changes. De Croft traveled down on the Friday to see which teams have been working the hardest in the off season.
